The 65,000-square-foot senior living community is composed of a three-story structure containing 64 memory care suites for residents with Alzheimer's, dementia and other memory-diminishing illnesses. The second and third floors feature separate "porches" leading to the memory care residence neighborhoods, along with separate living/dining rooms, pantries and laundry facilities. The second floor also contains a vast outdoor courtyard where the residents can access multiple enjoyable outdoor amenities. The entire community is secure and safe for exploring. The environmentally conscious project was designed and constructed using sustainable best practices in an effort to achieve Green Globe certification, a structured assessment of the sustainability performance of the building and its impact on the surrounding community.
