The new 370-foot tall air traffic control tower consists of a 42,000-square-foot base building constructed of concrete column & beam frame supporting architectural precast concrete siding and a Guard Booth. On top of the cab is a penthouse with ground control radar at the top. The one-story base building contains administrative offices, storage, air handlers, shipping & receiving areas, including a loading dock, and the critical power distribution system which includes dual engine generators and an uninterruptible power supply.
